Tim Sutton - Managing Attorney

Tim has lived in Nevada for over 16 years. During that time he served as a law clerk for the Honorable Robert W. Lane, a civil deputy district attorney with the Nye County District Attorney’s Office, and as the County Manager for Nye County. Tim has a deep understanding of Nevada law and Nye County government. Tim received bachelor’s and master’s degrees in social work from Brigham Young University before obtaining his law degree at J. Reuben Clark Law School. Tim rounded out his formal education with a Public Official Certificate from the University of Nevada, Reno but considers himself a lifelong learner.

Tim is passionate about community service and has served on the Nye County School District Board of Trustees, Pioneer Territory CASA (now Advocates for Children of Rural Nevada “ACORN”), Nye Communities Coalition Executive Board, and the Nye County Child Death Review Team. He actively continues to serve in his church following his two-year mission in Munich, Germany for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

In his personal time, Tim enjoys spending time with his wife and five children. Together, they enjoy reading, traveling, hiking, sampling new foods, and watching sports. Tim plays basketball several times a week but still tries to keep up with his wife on their morning walks.

Erik Ahlander - Of Counsel

Erik Ahlander is a seasoned personal injury attorney known for his deep commitment to helping individuals navigate challenging times following an injury. Born in Salt Lake City, Utah, Erik's educational journey began with a Business Management degree from Brigham Young University, followed by a Law Degree from the William S. Boyd School of Law at UNLV, which he received in 2005. His early legal career was shaped by a significant law clerk position at a respected personal injury firm in Las Vegas, where he honed his skills for two years during his law studies. Since passing the Nevada State Bar the same year, Erik has dedicated over 16 years to representing those who have suffered personal injuries, distinguishing himself through his empathetic approach and commitment to securing just compensation for his clients.

Beyond the courtroom, Erik Ahlander is a family man, cherishing time spent with his wife and four children. His personal life is marked by diverse interests that enrich his professional practice. He is fluent in German, a skill he acquired during a two-year stay in Germany, reflecting his appreciation for cultural immersion and language. Erik's enthusiasm extends to sports, both as a player and a fan, with a particular fondness for college football. His passion for travel further highlights his love for exploration and new experiences. These facets of his life fuel his understanding and connection with clients, bringing a unique perspective to his legal practice.
